I really like the social project that Johanna chose to review, I think that it is a very important subject and that this project helps to bring light to a very dark time for many people in Syria. I like the project itself not only because of the social impact that comes with this subject but because of the way that they also engaged with the community and the children to ensure that they felt it was their project as well. I love the fact that is hasn't only helped the community in a small way but it has actually changed the way the children see one another and got them to play together and use their energy in that way rather than fighting which is what they had resorted to previously. From an artistic perspective I think that this project is very fun and exciting and I like the way that they have used the project to create different uses for the area like an educational space, quiet space and sports space. I think that this project is definitely transformative it has made a massive impact on a community that desperately needed it. Johanna has excellently got across her views on the project and I can tell that she has put her own emotion and feelings into it. She has gone into detail of how the project took place and has researched effectively into how it was started and their thought process throughout; deciding together what functions they needed from the space and how to carry those out. Johanna has also wrote about the history of the refugees and how this has especially impacted their lives and what they have come from. Johanna has also showed the importance of these projects in getting awareness from around the world and described well how this awareness helps the people in need. This project has great relevance to the current Gamification project and I think that it is a real eye opener into what can come of a few people getting together to try and make a change. In conclusion, if I was to improve anything about this review I would add more imagery and visual sources into it, however, it was a very good read and I learnt something new from it.
