It must distinguished between what is essential to get done, and what is accessory (wishes we'd like to see materialized, but without which BS future issue can still exist).

writing process

  • ¿ External prospective collaborators?
  • ¿ Tutor(s) interested in working with students on the articles (can this become a workshop/open aanbod on writing research methodologies?)
  • Copy-editor (how involved the copy-editor will be?)
  • Style-guide: 6 hours (Andre, Iris + ?? )

wiki

  • Wiki Introduction to new groups: 3 hours for ≈ 20 participants (Andre, Remko)
  • New wiki categories: (2 hours)
  • Section: photo essay, video, ... ?

  • ¿ Editor - who inspects and edits the content ?

Design

web-to-print

  • with footer: containing page and article name;

  • Identify and position issue #2: 4 hours (Andre - Python code to generate HTML)
  • Preview mode for articles (how articles render in Front End): 6 hours (Andre)

website

  • A new visual identity - CSS Stylesheet: 8 to 16 hours. Who? Template, Graphic Design students ? (To avoid making it an complicated and consuming task, we keep the current index structure and change the visual presentation of the same elements)
  • Change article's font-end page (CSS, maybe HTML structure) depending on article's section (such as photo essay): 16 hours (Andre + Design team)

physical publication

  • From Editorial Design project: It would be good if at least one of prototypes for BS physical publications resulting from the Editorial Design project, could be used within the second issue. Ideally also the workflow used, could be incorporated into future issues

Promotion

  • ¿How to promote and distribute the magazine?

(Wiki as Publishing platform - publisher )

The Publication Station (publisher) is interested in applying the same platform wiki and code as a workflow that can be applied to other publishing projects within WdKA.
